Fathers Day Card.

Well, I had one more fathers day card to make - this is for my youngest to give to his dad. There was an offer on over at Nutcrafters that when you placed an order you got a free digi stamp - so whats a girl to do??? Well, I think you know - so a little bit of retail therapy later I got my stamp - and made my card.

Just incase you are wondering - 'Dad Bloke' - is Ians avatar on the wii and it is a bit of a family name.

I used the sizzix to die cut the letters, backing paper from Smirk range.

I would like to enter it in the following challenges:

Totally Gorgeous
Magical Crafts
Cupcake Craft
Cards for men.
Nutcrafters

First ever embossing attempt!!

Well, as you may know from earlier posts Santa very kindly brought me a Big Shot for Christmas and to be honest I didn't really use it after I scared myself when it made a cracking noise and I also put a die in upside down - honestly I am so daft sometimes!! Anyway, at Harrogate in March I bought some scalloped circles and needed to use them so blew the dust off- and hurrah - everything is fine. So feeling brave I ordered an embossing folder and had a little go - yay no problems there either - so here is my first ever card made with my new embossing folder:

This is co-incidence honestly as not really into football! But it is red, white & blue with some little clear gems that I got with a Hero Arts stamp. I would like to enter this into the Crafty Catz embossing challenge. And cupcakecraft challenge -dazzle us.

Thanks for looking.

On a Roll!

Well I have been having another bit colour in - and I shouldn't really - you would think I had nothing else to do!! (such as a huge pile of ironing - ahem!).

I have used MME papers that were free with a magazine, ribbon that I got from the sale in Hobbycraft - and the image kindly sent to me by a friend. However, this time instead of going dst mad I have mainly used 3d sticky pads - I wasnt sure how it would work because the papers aren't particularly thick - but it seems ok.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Creative Card Crew - Thank you
Lili of the Valley - Sketch
Charisma Cardz - spots & stripes

Thank you for looking xx.

I would like to enter this one for Totally papercrafts - more than one fold challenge - this is for my f-i-l who doesnt like anything too fussy and other than his garden doesnt really have any other hobbies not sure if it is a little plain??? Hi, just a quick post from me tonight. I would like to enter the card below for The Wings challenge over at Totally Gorjuss

Hope it is ok - afraid I dont really know about the image or papers as I was lucky enough to receive them - however the image has been coloured with promarkers (with inspiration from Card Oasis) and I have used Anitas 3d clear gloss finish to highlight the shoes and ladybug dots.
