Just a quickie...

I really should be doing housework but I cant be bothered so I just thought I'd quickly nip on and blog this card I made the other night:

The image was sent to me by one of the lovely ladies on MSE (I think Sarah - Thank you!), I have coloured him with promakers and used stamping up papers (ooh they are lovely!!), with a sentiment from Craftwork Cards (I think?). I have trimmed the front of the card and then added Punched SU paper and lined the edge up with the back of the card (iykwim :-) )

I would like to enter this into:

Cupcake Challenges - Old McDonald had a farm. (think you get rabbits on a farm?)
Stamps r us - animals
Moving along with the times - spring
Stamptacular Sunday - whateva

De-stress!

Good Afternoon folks, well been to a bowling party this morning with my youngest and it was sooooo busy & loud - I was glad to come home to peace and quiet - so while Tom has popped over the road to play I thought I would de-stress (as it is a little early for a glass of wine ;-) )with a little card making - I think this will go to my brothers girlfriend:

Sorry not sure what the paper is but have coloured a LOTV image with promarkers and highlighted areas with Sakura glitter pens - I have then matted onto pink card and dotty embossed card then added ribbon and flowers from stash - I have also just added a little pink ink to the edge of the card and the embossed card.

I would like to enter this into:

Delicous Doodles - spots or stripes ( spots)
Fairy Knoll - Flowers

With love...

... Ooh I was going to try and be all organised today but got a call to work extra as one of the girls was off sick - ah well think of the money (starting to save up for the Papercrafts in Harrogate in March!!!).

Luckily I had a card made (the one I mentioned yesterday) and thought I would blog it:

I think this might be my hubbys valentines card - dont think it looks too girly - just wanted to do something a bit different from reds. The image is a freebie one from Meljens coloured with pro-markers and highlighted with some stickles and Anitas 3d.

The papers were from Etsy - sorry not sure of make with ribbon from stash and then generated the sentiment courtesy of Fonts 101.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Charisma: Love/Valentine
Fab & funky - use a digi
A spoon full of sugar - valentines
Meljens challenge- hearts

Are you a flitter?? & Operation Tidy up!!

Afternoon all, hope you are keeping well. No card from me today (I've got one made - which you may catch a glimpse of - will just hang on to it to link it to some challenges - lol), just some piccies to share and wondering if any of you are like me.

There have been some posts lately over on Kandi's blog that I have really related to and thought I would share some pics of the magazines & books by my bedside - that I think have got bigger since some piccies last year:
There are crafty mags, home mags, general interest mags ( I was going to type girlie mags but that sounds sooo wrong!) - am sure you know what I mean - I am currently re-reading Period Living because although I live in a 20 year old house on a big housing estate when we win the lottery this is the sort of house I'll be after - ahh a girl can dream!!

These are my books that I keep buying or people lend me - quite varied. I started the Jackie Collins because I hadn't read for ages just couldnt get anything to interest me - so I thought I'd give a nice trashy novel a go - you know when you want to read something but don't want anything heavy or hard going. Only a couple of chapters in though and then I got the Cherry Cake book as a bargain (after seeing it mentioned in Nancy's blog) in the sales and started to read that - oh it is so lovely - makes me want to re-read Enid Blyton!!

Are you a Flitter - thats what my mum recently described me as because I seem to flit from one thing to another - there is obviously my love of card making - but then I saw a post on Helens Blog to make some fingerless gloves - I thought I could do that so here is my attempt:

I must admit I did have to get my mum to sew them up!!

Now not only do I have a crafty desk - I have a little crafty chair area in the front room where I flit over to and possibly cross-stitch or read mags here it is:

There are just sooooo many things I want to have a go at (blogs & the internet are to blame - lol - when you see so many inspiring things)..erm the sewing machine will be attempted soon - just waiting for some bits & bobs to get me going.

Lastly (sorry for all the pics) here is my bomb site desk this morning - as there had been talk on the MSE forum about getting tidy and organised - and it inspired me to commence operation tidy up :

Before:

After:
Nearly there just got to sort out places for the boxes I have filled with bits & pieces.

Right off to cast on to make a mug hug now - (again off Helens blog!!) - thanks for looking xx

... as I should be getting the tea ready aah whats 5 mins. Dont know if you know but Bugaboo are celebrating with 60% off their digi's - well whats a girl to do - supposed to be on an economy drive but it would have been rude not to buy one of their digis. I loved this next image and sentiment so just popped it into my basket:

I have coloured the image with pro-markers and used papers that I got from Etsy last year and some ribbon from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

Anniversary Card.

Hi all, hope you are well - lousy weather here, hope it is better where you are!!

Just trying to keep up to date, seem to manage on a weekend but during the week it all goes a bit pear shaped - wish I was better organised.
Aah, enough moaning, I'm here to blog a card I have made for my parents (in-law) anniversary - not until April - but as soon as I saw this image I thought it was perfect for them as they are very keen gardeners. The image is a freebie from Fairydoodlers Den, have you been??? If not pop over there is some gorgeous images - yup and thats me in one of the posts winning an image - how brill is that - yay!!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers and used another of my January Sale bargains from Sizzix - it cut the green card shape which I have stuck to a card blank I have also made. The sentiment is just generated off the pooter and then added some ribbon and bling from my stash.

I am really pleased with the end result.

Good Evening....

... well am able to nip on here quickly before I start tea as hubby has offered to take Tom to gymnastics which I am quite relieved about - as it does get a bit boring after a while - bad mum - am I supposed to admit to that???

Anyhoo, just wanted to blog this card for one of Toms friends who's birthday is soon - he is keen on karate so I used this Sugar nellie(?) Luca Karate stamp - coloured it with promarkers and used Basic Grey paper (it is from a 12 x 12 cupcake sheet - I think), the number 7 was kindly sent by one of the lovely ladies on MSE - I've left it white but thinking about either colouring it or adding glitter - what do you think??
I would like to enter this into
Basic Grey challenge - dots & spots
Lets ink it up - anything goes.
One Stop Craft Challenge - card for a child
Paper Sundaes - circles

Ooh while I remember I'll just pop these on - to show I can sometimes finish tasks - because I am terrible for leaving things half finished and then having a panic on about how I am going to finish it. Well you know the wedding card with no envelope I set too the other day and made a box for it ( too big - oops ) but with a little bit of tissue paper to add to the effect I did it - yes finished a task well ahead of schedule - yay!!)

Sorry for the lousy pictures they were taken late last night - blooming low energy bulbs - but you get the idea - lol.
