Hmmm..

.. no sure if this is how I imaging it in my head - lol.  I saw the challenge over at Saturated Canary and loved all the images on the inspirational photo and thought I'd have a go as I had a peacock feather lying around - as you do!!  I love Kristas images but never feel I can do them justice - if you know what I mean lol).  Enough waffling - here is my make:

The image has been coloured with promarkers and polychromo pencils and added liquied pearls around her.  The green paper could possibly be basic grey and the green and purple card from my stash and lastly the bling from my stash and the feather came from my sons school project lol.

I would like to enter this into:

Saturated Canary Challenge - emerald.

Good Afternoon...

...hasn't it been a lovely couple of days - but its now trying its hardest to rain here :-(.  My mojo is still with me and been getting a few cards made.  I saw a fabby sketch challenge over at cupcake craft challenge blog thought that looks nice and easy I'll have a little go at that, so here is my make:

I have had the image ages and coloured her with promarkers and added some stickles to her wings.  the papers are MME (I think), that came free with a magazine the pink card is from my stash and added card candy again from my stash.

I would like to her into:

Cucake Craft Challenge - sketch

Next, I made a card for a friends birthday:

The paper is Papermania and the image was a lovely Sylvia Zet freebie - again coloured with promarkers and matted onto die-cut purple bazzill.  I was feeling brave and stamped the sentiment directly onto the card.

My last make at the moment is:

This is for my bestest real life friend - shocking I know I have real life friends lol as well as lovely virtual friends :-).  The image & sentiment came together from Jelly Park, again coloured with my trusty promarkers the papers are Amy Tangerine with a border from my stash.  I have die cut the swirl and added flowers and a pearl brad from my stash.

Finishing off...

...I'm terrible for starting things and not getting round to finishing them off - however, due to having an extra day at home - all housework done and I've got Jack back to school today so I thought I'd try and get somethings finished:

Finally got my time for tea hanger finished, Margaret Sherry cards - back stitch finished and made into cards, finishing off my alphabet with satin stitch!!!  Finding it hard on evenweave though.

Next I finished my bird hanging (made instead of a mobile) with the goodies in my last Crafty Creatives box

and a cute little caterpillar made with the Jumping clay:

and thats the morning gone!!!

Back again...

... I've taken a little advantage of being home today and made this:

trying to get ahead of the game (again!!!) - this is for the boys grandad, who celebrates a big birthday (80) not until  the summer, but what can you do when inspiration strikes (lol) - in my case seize it with both hands!!

Okey doke, the image is a precut & coloured LOTV that I have distressed.  The papers are my bargalicious Amy Tangerine  papers £2.99 from TKMaxx  (I got three packs and wish I'd got more) - again distressed.  The star has been manually die cut and the zigzag border electronically die cut (ooh get me!!) with a sentiment from my stash - that was a birthday gift last year from the lovely Sarah.

I would like to enter this into:

Kaboodle doodles - Brown/tan
Crafty sentiments - things beginning with B (Brown paper & star and zigzag), Blue (water), Boy, Brown distressed ink, Boat)

I shouldnt really be here....

... I should be at work - but my eldest is off school poorly so I'm off with him.  Whilst I have a free minute thought I would do a quick blog post of a recent make:

I was recently lucky enough to win two digis from Pink Gem and this is one I chose - Emma in torn jeans.  She has been coloured with promarkers and I've tried to be a bit more adventurous  with her hair.  I have matted the image and basic grey papers onto kraft card.  I have die cut the circles and used my new hanging heart die and added pearls from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

One of Janeys new designs...

...  I love this new image from Janey, and wanted to play with it - but had a bit of an issue with my colouring I wanted quite a dramatic colour - but it wasnt happening - so I settled for this blue and even used my pencils with my promarkers as well!!!

I was inspired to matt the image and papers onto black by having a nosy on Vickys blog - so thank you Vicky for letting me pinch your design idea :-).  As I have mentioned the image has been coloured with promarkers and pencils with some glossy accents to the centre.  This has been matted onto black card that I have cut with my nesties.  I have used dome pale blue stripey paper (matted) and added card candy from my stash.  These have then been matted onto blue card and layered again onto black.

Pop to Janeys Design Blog to see some other great makes.
