Eeek....

... just a little bit excited here - as I was asked to become a DT member for Passion for Promarkers - well to say I was a bit shocked was an understatement - lol.

So today is the day to post my card for their latest challenge which is a 'Card for a Child' :-), how cute is that.  The sponsor for this challenge is Aurora Wings,  and you could win $15 to spend in their store!!!

Onto my card :

The image is from a LOTV art pad of course coloured with promarkers and a splash of flexmarker.  I have also added stickles to her wings and antennaes.  The papers are MME matted onto blue card.  I have then added a die cut 3 - ready to give to an up and coming Threenager lol.

Why not pop over to the Passion for Promarkers blog and see what the other DT members have created.

Morning,

eugh its grey and damp here today :-(, hope it brightens up soon there are things I need to do in the garden!!

I saw a challenge over at sweet stampin' and quite fancied it - as I'm not very daring with hair colour and their challenge was Unusual Hair Colour - so here is my take on it (apologies for the rubbish photo again!!  Just cant seem to get any decent light!)

The image is coloured with promarkers and matted onto black card where I have die cut two rectangles and layed on top of dp which I think is MME, which has been matted onto light purple bazzill cardstock.  I have then added a die cut camera and added the chipboard happy which I think was a pound from the works in a bag with a few other words.

Sugar Bowl challenge - anything goes

Enjoy your Thursday and thanks for looking

Happy Wednesday..

.. everyone, the sun is shining here but its very cold.  I was going to wash the car - but I wont - lol.  Maybe tomorrow if its a bit warmer.

Well, I've been and met my mum for a quick cuppa and a little mooch, so back home now to do a bit more tidying up my to do list never gets any smaller :-(.

I'm going to blog this card that my mum asked me to make for one of her friends who recently turned 70, I dont know what they put in the water with my mums group of friends but they are all so young at heart - they have more get up and go than I have!!  I gave her a selection of images to choose from and this is what she chose:

Apologies for the rubbish photo - its a nightmare at the minute trying to get good lighting.  The image and sentiment is Art Impression coloured with promarkers and a couple of flexmarkers and some sakura glitter pen added to the icing.

Im not sure of the dp I've hadit ages matted onto pink card then adding die cut flower with a pearl from my stash and then adding die cut 70.

Gnomes!!

You've got to love them!!  Just a quick post this afternoon, wanting to share a recent make - using one of the new dies I got at Christmas that I desperately wanted and have only just used - oops!!  I'm sure they'll get a lot of use in the future though :-)

I've die cut the hills, the sun & clouds and the gnomes and snail - so basically everything on the card lol.  The cute gnomes have been coloured with pro-markers and then stamped the sentiment.

Morning!!

Its fresh and bright here this morning - I'm just waiting for my mum to come through so we can go to a local market town and on to a few garden centres, as she is in need of a pressy for one of her friends.

I'm just going to quickly blog a card I made for my youngest to give to his 'girlfriend' - he only walks home from school with her but...

The image is an oldie from Spyder and has been coloured with promarkers and some sakura glitter pen to the heart.  The papers are recollections, which have been matted onto card.

Hellloooo, is there anybody there???

Oh lordy, I cant believe how long its been, seriously lost my blogging mojo - even commenting on other blogs has fallen by the wayside and for that I apologise but I do still have a nosy.  It seems though I'm not the only one who feel this way.

Anyhoo, I hope you all had a fab Christmas & New Year - if you can remember its seems so long ago.  I didnt really get anything crafty this year - just a couple of dies - that I 'desperately' needed - however, they are still in their packets - lol, they will get used at some point - honest - lol, just dont tell hubby!!

Even though I've been quiet on here my crafty mojo has made a re-appearance and I've been making cards like a good'un - my son is 16 in April (omg!! that cant be right!!!) and I've got his cards made, early, incase mr mojo decides to go walkabout again! and a couple of others which I'll blog about soon.

Talk about being prepared - I've got one of my mothers cards done, which is the one I'm going to blog now - the next mothers day card is going to be exactly the same as this one.

The image is from Mo's digital pencil, she recently had a new year discount code, so I took advantage of that - I've loved this image for ages and often thought it would be ideal for my gardening mum and mum-in-law!!

I printed off the image and then masked an image on top of it whilst I stencilled the distress ink circle around the image - which I have then coloured with promarkers and added the sentiment from word.  I have kept it c&s by matting onto pink card and then just adding some gems from my stash to the corner.  I am really pleased with how this turned out (I wont admit it was my third attempt though - due to botching of the stencilling - lol!!)

As you like it - One layer or lots of layer (one layer) - its the first time I've attempted this and really like how it has turned out - I will definately be doing more like this.
Mo's DP2 challenge - anything goes.

Hopefully it wont be so long until my next post, thanks for looking.

Happy...

... Wednesday everone, hope you are all calm on the run up to Christmas - I'm trying not to panic - although I dont really know why I should be - I've just wrapped my pressies, but we've got the decorator in and the house is in a bit of a state.  We've got the tree up - but I'm itching to get cleaning - anyhoo, hopefully he'll be finished tomorrow.  I'm trying to get a list made up of last minute bits and pieces before the boys break up - as I know once they do, I'll get nothing done!!

I  havent actually made that many cards this year - just really for hubby, the boys, my mum & the in-laws.  Talking of which - here is the card I made for them:

The image is a cute LOTV coloured with promarkers and some stickles added.  Not sure the dp - they are from a double sided 12x12, matted onto blue bazzill, all edges have been distressed with a sentiment I did on word then added some punched snowflakes and little pearls from my stash.
