Hope all you mums had a relaxing day yesterday.

Sorry about the angle of the photo the sun was shining brightly this morning and I couldnt see the image on the camera - lol.

This is a card for Ians neice whose first wedding anniversary is coming up - that year has definately flown by!!

The paper is another from Mina, matted onto green card from my stash, the image was coloured with pro-markers and again matted onto green card and a love heart doily from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

Simon says stamp - Bit o green (hope its enough)
Love to create - anything goes

No Card today...

... just trying to stay organised with my meal plan for At home with Mrs M.

Friday: Kids possibly at Nannas - Ian at work - I could be out for my mums birthday - wont know for definate until later in the week.

Saturday: Possibly only me & Ian for tea Plaice fillets (part of the M&S offer) and chips.

A quick post...

...before I start tea.

First I just want to blog this card I have made for Ians son:

He plays guitar and sings in a local rock?? band - not sure what genre they are loud screamy stuff - lol - how old does that make me sound!! So I thought this Stamping Boutique image was very suitable.

The paper is from my stash and then embossed some mirricard the image was coloured with pro-markers and glossy accents added to the guitar the little stars came from Debbie.

I would like to enter this into:

Crafty Creations - stripes
Paper Pretties - masculine
Anything goes challenge blog - boyz to men
Creative craft challenge - boys will be boys

Postie came a knockin' today so that cheered up a grey day The Travelling Craft Box that LaaLaa arranged - I received the box from Heather at Pink Milk - I cant reveal what was in the box but can show a piccie of what I received from Heather:

The cutest mouse which matches the colour scheme in my living room so he has taken up residence on the mantlepiece, choccie (yum), cross stitch fabric/chart and love which I might have a go at painting. Huge thanks xxx

I have taken two items from the box:

and I have replaced these items.

I am now going to send it on to Pene.

Thanks to Lynda for organising a great swap.

Thanks for looking

Where does the time go???

'cor I cant believe how quickly time is passing - hopefully I'll be back to working my normal hours soon and will hopefully feel I am back on top of things, so before Jack comes in from school I'd quickly do this post.

As I mentioned before March is a bit mad for birthdays and it is my mums next week, so here is her card - be prepared theres lots of pink!!

The image is a cute lotv freebie that was with a magazine - coloured with promarkers, the paper, flowers and doily from my stash the sentiment is a craftwork cards one. With her birthday so near to Mothers Day sometimes its on the same day - its tricky trying to come up with two different styles - lol.

I would like to enter this into:

Simon says stamp:
Mothers day/special girl (mum is def. my special girl)
Crafty Sentiments : Bears
Ladybug crafts - pink & girly
My time to craft - circle circus
Passion for pro-markers - for mum/female relative
Aud sentiments - happy birthday
Crafty ribbons - celebrate mum

I am also late posting my meal plan monday with At Home with Mrs M - oops - sorry, a bit late but here it is:

Monday: Just me & the boys for tea(Ian at work until after 8) - Jacket potato and cheesy beans ( and chicken griddlers for the boys)
Tuesday: bit of a nightmare running around - Tom at his nannas, Jack at Rugby until 6.30, me at work until 6 Ian at work until 8 - so Tom had is tea with his nanna and then when we finally got in me & Jack went to the chip shop.
Wednesday: Beef & ale casserole (cooking at this moment and smelling delish) - a Jamie Oliver recipe so fingers crossed its ok. (all for tea)
Thursday: All for tea - will put a chicken curry in the slow cooker.
Friday: Boys could be at their nannas - not sure yet. Me & Ian out for tea for a retirement do - havent been out in a group for ages feeling a bit apprehensive I dont really like going out with his work colleagues - if any of you read this - no offence!! lol
Saturday: not sure who's here for tea so will say a salad and adapt accordingly
Sunday: Roast dinner and soup & sandwiches for tea.

Finally we had a locum in at work who told me about a Zumba class she goes to on a Wed Morning, as I wasnt meeting my mum this week I thought I'd give it a go as I am a total wimp where anything sporty is involved lol - well I went this morning for my first ever Zumba class - well what a hoot I loved it - so if anybody is thinking of trying it - DO - its so much fun really looking forward to next week - and I've never felt like that about any other type of fitness - my mum (who is in here 70's loves her class too!!)

Thanks for looking and reading my waffling
