Third post...

... in a week!!! That hasnt happened in a long time :-).  Well I've just spotted a challenge over at Sweet Stampin' and thought I might enter this card, but I've now realised I cant as the image is from a pad and not one I've actually stamped - lol - oh dear!!  However its been looked into and its ok to enter the challenge - yay!

Now I'm not sure whether to give this to my s-i-l for her birthday next week or keep it for a mothers day card, hmmm, decisions :-).

The image is LOTV, which I have coloured with promarkers and added a tiny bit of glitter pen to the butterfly.

I have die cut the image and matted it onto fancy circle die cut- the papers are the last I think, from a paper pack that came with a magazine ages ago, matted onto pearlised card.  I have added ribbon, sentiment and gems from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

Simon Says Stamp - add texture (ribbon and gems)
Sweet Stampin - spring flowers
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, its sunny here so I've managed to have a little potter about in the garden :-).

Thanks for looking

Yay!!..

.. another post!!!  This is a card I made for Ians uncle who is reaching a 'big' birthday!!

I love this image I think his facial expression is fab - it is from Just Inklined, and he has been coloured with promarkers, and glossy accents added to his glasses.  The dp's are Kaisercraft and matted onto yellow card.  The sentiment I did on word.  Then I'm not sure if I've gone a bit mad with the punched stars!!!

I would like to enter this into:

I love promarkers - make us laugh
Sparkles monthly challenge - one for the boys
The papershelter - animal magic (hope a duck is classed as an animal, if not just let me know and I can remove it :-) )
The pink elephant - Happy Birthday

Hello...

... we've nipped into town this morning, so while the boys catch up on  their x-box time, I'm just going to do a quick blog post before I catch up with some housework.

This is a card I made for Ians mums birthday:

The image is LOTV, that came in a pad of images free with a magazine ages ago.  I have coloured the image with promarkers.  The papers where from Hobbycraft and I have matted the image, papers and sentiment onto textured cardstock from my stash.  I have then added flowers and pearls again from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

Passion for Promarkers - perfect pearls
Creative Card Crew- Birthday with sentiment
Di's digi design challenge - embellishments  (flowers, pearls)
The pink elephant - happy birthday

Right, best go and get some jobs done!!

Oooh afternoon....

... by gum its a bit of a chilly one here - we had a smattering of snow during the night but its gone now but just very very cold!!!!

Its gone a bit quiet again on the card making front due to some decorating getting sorted and you know how it snowballs from just a few rolls of wall paper to new curtains, blinds, furniture - lol - and we've booked a holiday - yay!!  Honestly people will think we've won the lottery - unfortunately we havent :-( but hubby keeps trying!!

Onto why I'm here to blog a card I made a little while ago:

Ive used a Mo image coloured with promarkers and matted onto turqoise card the dp's are MME - Boy Crazy.

I would like to enter this into:

Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Passion for promarkers - one for the boys
Mo's DP2 challenge - anything goes.

Right off to warm up a bit.  Keep walm folks and thanks for looking.
