Last Tusal of the year:

yup, and I'm late again - I have gone from being slightly organised to panic stations - pah!! I dont know where its all gone wrong :-(  - anyhoo it'll all come together in the end - I think I have this panic every year.

So, here is Decembers Tusal - full to the brim with cottons and then random bits of felt from where I have been making ipod covers and a half eaten gingerbread man for the Christmas Tree - picture to follow:

Why not pop to Daffycats to see how everyone else did.

Here is my little play with felt:

I had the pattern for ages and finally got round to making him this year (this sort of thing appeals to my sense of humour) - here is a link to the pattern.

Finally, I've just come back from a last minute bit of sale shopping at Mo's digital pencil who is having a little sale on her digi's but it ends very soon - you need a code which I've seen around blogland and facebook so you've probably come across it.  I was very restrained and only bought two but could have bought loads - unfortunately all spent up with my Christmas shopping - maybe next time - lol.

Right off to sort the kids out for their bath.

Enjoy the little bit of weekend that is left.

Thanks for looking

Quite a productive afternoon...

... yup, got my mums christmas card made yesterday (which I will blog when I spot some challenges :-) ), but I also cracked on with a bit of making up - I am a bit of a devil for starting projects but never actually seeing them through to the end, but as one of these was a Christmas present and one I wanted for home I thought I'd better get my finger out and get on with it, especially with the kids not at home:

Apologies though for the rather dodgy photos it was a miserable afternoon and lighting was shocking:

Steph kindly pointed me in the direction of some Avengers cross stitch patterns and I went for this one, it was going to turn out a lot bigger for the whole row of characters than I realised so I chose Captain America to stitch and make up into a cushion for Tom who is a fan - I am pleased with how it turned out and amazed that I used my noggin to make it up!!!! shock!!! as I am a bit of a div when it comes to sewing and forgetting to sew them right sides together etc!!!  anyhoo, the picture shows the end pinned but I sat and ladder stitched it last night and it looks good - so now both my boys have cushions wrapped up for Christmas.

And now for.... yup you've guessed it another cushion - (again showing a pinned edge but now fully finished:

This was a Lizzie Kate design (another that  worked out bigger than I thought), I've sewn it onto fabric that was from a fat quarter that I bought reduced in the summer.

I've been really good and just used fabric that I had in the house rather than buying new as I seem to be getting a little stash and not using any - hubby will be pleased lol.

As I have stitched this design now, I doubt I would stitch it again - if anyone would like it I'd be happy to post it on to you as a RAK just leave a comment for me - if I get more than one request by Wed I'll pop the names in a hat (hope that is fair and ok).

Right best be off forgot to make a card for my stepson and his girlfriend (big oops!!)

Just a quickie...

...I know, shocked or what - another post.  I am just about to start to make my mums card - which I was supposed to do earlier in the week  - cough! But before I do I'll just blog Toms card:

The papers I think are Dovecraft which I have matted onto pale blue bazzill.  The image is a new one from the sale department at Funky Kits (as well as a couple of others - but we wont mention those just yet ;-) ) I have coloured him with promarkers and made the sentiment just on word.

I would like to enter this into:
Totally Papercrafts - one for the boys

Right off to go and colour an image and hope that inspiration strikes!!!  Aargh!!!

Whoop...

... another post yay!!! Just wanting to blog card I made for Sarah:

The shaped card blank is from Craftwork Cards when I went to Harrogate with flowers and ribbon from stash - the paper is from Kaisercraft and the image was a freebie but havent kept the link and now feel bad about that its such a cute image so if anyone knows please let me know and I'll add a link to give credit. *Thanks to Debbie its a Birdie Brown digi   - so big thanks there for such a cutie image the image has been coloured with promarkers and then my new liquid pearls added around the image.

I would like to enter this into:

I love promarkers - anything goes.
Papertake weekly - anthing goes

Before I go, just want to share a pic of Tom in his new Christmas jumper (& hat!!):

Couldnt resist this jumper when I saw it in Primark - I did run it by him before I bought it but no he assured me he would like it and definately wear it!!  And he is - now!!!  Thought I'd seize this opportunity before he grew up to be a grump like his big brother - who apparently would NOT wear anything remotely christmassy so dont event think of buying him one (or a onsie for that matter) - lol!

Anyhoo, thanks for looking

Well...

Ooh I love this pollycraft image - she seems to get used every Christmas - she is a pleasure to colour.  I have used papers from my stash and coloured her with promarkers.  I have then die cut the snowflakes and swirl - I've also stippled around the image with pink ink - not sure if you can see that??) and finally added pink pearls again from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

Hooked on craft challenge -christmas
Crafty Hazlenuts - make it girly
