Eugh....

... what horrible weather today, kids at nannas, hubby at work - what else to do but faff around making cards - lets forget about the housework today - lol.

Well over at Saturated Canary Krista is having 50% off for Black Friday, well it would have been rude not to take advantage of this so I popped over for they Grey Tie image - thinking for Hubbys Christmas card:

So this is what I've been busy with this morning.  The image has been coloured with promarkers matted onto silver mirricard, the sentiment I did myself and the dp's are from a 12x12 sheet that I have had for ages - not sure of the make and then added little diamante (?) stick ons in the corner.

I would like to enter this into:
Allsorts - bring out the bling
Crafty Hazelnuts - christmas card for someone special

I'll also blog this birthday card I made for my friends son:

Its one of Mo's fab images coloured with promarkers and matted onto brown card , the paper is from a Kaisercraft pad with twine added from my stash.

I would like to enter this into:

Bronte & Bellas digital challenge - not square (not very original but rectangle)

Thanks for looking

Ali

  15. Hi Ali, firstly two fab cards there - great SC image (I've mostly given up on those, just can't get them right!) and Mo's image is just fab.

Secondly thanks for popping by my blog and leaving the very kind comments - it is appreciated. I don't know with Emily's school if it's me or them, but I just can't settle! There's a lot of one-upmanship amongst the parents (which I don't take part in!) and a degree of favouritism (I feel) on the teachers part, but then I might just be being a tad paranoid as she's my only child and I do worry about her - who doesn't worry about any child, eh!!

Sorry to have waffled on so much, feel free not to read it if you don't want!!

    Sarah

PS - Hope things work out with your sons' school.
