A little stitchy...

...update, before the boys come home.

Here's one I've finished although I'm one x out at the top and can I heck find where I've made the mistake!!!  Anyhoo, I'm just needing a frame for this and I'll get it put up in the kitche:

I've started this one:

I first saw this on Mouses blog and fell in love with it - I've had it a few months but only just picked it up (as you do!!)

Right, lastly its the 30th and a New Moon (according to Daffycats blog) so here's a picture of my tusal:

Pop to Daffycats for an explanation and see how everyone else is doing :-).

Hopefully I'll be back later with a card make.

Another...

... man card!!!  Having a bit of a run on mens/boys birthdays at the moment!!  I've just finished this one for Ians uncle, so I thought I'd blog it now as I've seen a suitable challenge:

The image is one of Mo's that has been coloured with promarkers, and 3d sticky squared onto black card.  The papers are Amy Tangerine all matted onto black card.  The sentiment is a stamp I've had for a while - sorry not sure of the manufacturer though.

I would like to enter this into:

DP2 - lots of layers
I love promarkers - for the boys
Totally papercrafts - one for the boys

Yoo hoo...

... hello all, hope you are well - pah! not managing to keep up with this blogging malarky - especially after hubby and me rejoined the gym - so trying to fit everything in is a bit of a struggle.  I have photo updates to take of my stitchy things but the light has been so shocking - I'll have to leave it a little while.  Although I did notice it was lighter a bit later tonight - whoo hoo!!

Anyhoo, enough waffling here is a card I made a while ago but never got round to blogging and as there are a few challenges it will fit into I'll blog it now:

The image is a Pollycraft one (who have since stopped trading :-( ) - coloured with promarkers and although it doesnt show it on the photo (and I forgot to take a side shot - doh!) it has been coloured twice and layered with 3d sticky squares.  I have distressed around the edge and layered onto black card - and added a skull charm.  The dp is Basic Grey and I have (electronically) die cut the word dude and again used 3d squares to raise it up from the card.

I would like to enter this into:

I love promarkers - one for the boys
Charizma cards - a boys thing
A gem of a challenge - for the boys

Evening...

... hi all hope you are well.  Ooh all been a bit quiet here but I have been getting a couple of cards made - throughout the year I've got a few big birthdays for people and anniversaries so I'm trying to work on those at my own pace so I'm not panicking near the time.  I've also re-joined the gym as you know with crafting you dont really get a whole load of excercise so I'm trying to get fit and gain a bit of stamina - so that when I'm out on my bike with the boys I'm not huffing and puffing lol.

Anyhoo, onto a card - this is one I've made for my brother who's birthday is in February, not a big birthday for him but I do have a 70th and a 50th that month - gah!!!!

The image is a Mo image coloured with promarkers, die cut and distressed around the edge.  The papers I think are papermania from ages ago - matted onto kraft card   I have then added twine and some fishing flys and the tiniest bit of hessian I had - I'll need to try and find some more now!!

I would like to enter this into:

Totally Gorjuss - anything goes - manly
Incy Wincy - add texture
Crazy Challenge - cards for men
Dream Valley Challenges - men/boys
Polka Doodles & Studio 12- For the boys

Right I think thats me for tonight - I bought my hubby a homebrew kit for Christmas and its ready to drink tonight - hic!!

Happy New Year!!!

Here we are day two of the New Year and the decorations are down and the house is almost back to normal.  It was a quiet new year here as hubby was on nights :-(, but I hope you all had a good one.

Now yesterday was also the start of Daffycats Tusal, but I havent got a picture to show as there were no threads in my vase :-( no stitching done last night.

I did however get round to making a card, I saw a challenge over at my mums craft shop and liked the theme of Love, so this is what I came up with:

I'm not going to comment about being ahead of the game for Valentines as it always seems to go a bit mental and I end up not being organised, so I'll just comment that I have one in the bank (oh and I have a christmas card finished too!!)!!

Okey doke, the image is a whimsie doodle freebie from last year and I have coloured him with promarkers and added some glossy accents to his horns and sakura glitter pen  to the bow on the heart, and also put him on sticky pads to raise him from the papers. The sentiment came with the image.  These have been matted onto red card and the heart paper and card blank are from Craftwork Cards.

My mums craft shop - Love
Stampin for the weekend - anything goes
