Here we are day two of the New Year and the decorations are down and the house is almost back to normal. It was a quiet new year here as hubby was on nights :-(, but I hope you all had a good one.
Now yesterday was also the start of Daffycats Tusal, but I havent got a picture to show as there were no threads in my vase :-( no stitching done last night.
I did however get round to making a card, I saw a challenge over at my mums craft shop and liked the theme of Love, so this is what I came up with:
I'm not going to comment about being ahead of the game for Valentines as it always seems to go a bit mental and I end up not being organised, so I'll just comment that I have one in the bank (oh and I have a christmas card finished too!!)!!
Okey doke, the image is a whimsie doodle freebie from last year and I have coloured him with promarkers and added some glossy accents to his horns and sakura glitter pen to the bow on the heart, and also put him on sticky pads to raise him from the papers. The sentiment came with the image. These have been matted onto red card and the heart paper and card blank are from Craftwork Cards.
I would like to enter this into:

Stampin for the weekend - anything goes
Thanks for looking

Fab card Ali, the image is really cute. I've been looking at ideas already for valentines day, and orders some heart papers yesterday. Well done on doing a Christmas card already. I sat and did 60 yesterday, just need to get the ribbon to tie 60 bows. All the best for 2014 xxxx
ReplyDeleteWoah Christmas Card made already! The trick is not to lose it before next Christmas. The valentines one is very cute! xx
ReplyDeleteFab valentine's card hun, cute image and great design too :o) Hugs, Lisa x
ReplyDeleteHi Ali, that's one cute image and a lovely card! Love the hearts paper as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for poping by my blog, sorry it's taken me so long to come visit you. You'd commented on my Graph'Its post - I got myself skin tones and Pink Grey pens. They are very vibrant colours and, if you colour dark to light, very easy to blend.
However, I'm now experimenting with Copics and I think I might be sold!!! I will be keeping everyone up to date of my thoughts on the blog.

I'm kicking myself for not contacting you to make a card for my bests friends birthday tomorrow!
