It would be rude not to!!! LOL

Evening all, hope you are all better than the weather... its not stopped raining ALL afternoon!!! So while my eldest was at his Nannas and youngest had an hours play on the pooter (we were supposed to be on a date - dont ask!) I managed to make a card for the little baby boom that is around me at the moment - but why do I keep going for pink - aargh!!

I got this lovely freebie image from Spyders Corner, which I have coloured with pro-markers. Lyn (Spyder) had left a comment on one of my recent makes and mentioned something about a freebie. Well, you have to check it out dont you... it would be rude not to!!!! Her blog is fabby with loads of lovely makes and lots of helpful info.

The card isn't finished yet as I need to pop the sentiment on, which I am trying to do after spotting a lovely freebie font on the blog that Spyder had kindly left a link for. I have downloaded it but cant do anything with it, so hubby is going to have a look when I have finished this post.

Spyder also has another blog with digi downloads to buy - which I have just been and ordered one which will come in very handy!! I'm supposed to be on a stash ban - but it was only 99p - I know I wont buy a newspaper for 2 days - if my oh asks - lol!!

  3. Oh Ali, this fabulous! I'll have to 'borrow' it! please!!
Trouble with fonts? I've been meaning to do a quickie how to..easy (guys always make it look really difficult!)
Find the font you want, click on download,
    box comes up....press ok
another box pops up...Extract all files.
    press:- next...next....finish.
there's your font...leave that page open, go to start...(bottom left) go to control panel, click on it... a box will pop up, and you'll see loads of little icons ...you want the file that says fonts, once you see it, go back to the page where the font is (you can move the pages so you can see the font on one and the font file on the other) click on the TrueType Font and then just drag it (keep it pressed down) drag it off the page and in to the little font folder on the other page...in a few seconds it will be in there...if you've already got it, it will tell you!
    hope that helps!
That's the way I do did but you may have a slightly different system! have fun!
