Lou's monochrome challenge

I really shouldnt be on here, got loads to do but hubby has helped by taking youngest to gymnastics before we go to an open evening for secondary school for my eldest (and we've just come back from a meeting about him going on the school trip to France next year!!) - omg he still seems to young - or is it I dont like feeling old - hmm.

This is a card I have made for a challenge I spotted but it will come in handy at christmas as well, it is for the Black, White and Silver challenge over at Creative Craft World. Its another one of those where you have the idea in your head and then I am not too sure of it in real life - anyway see what you think :
Sorry about the shadowing - just finding it a bit tricky at the mo. to get decent images.

I have used my new Mariannes dies from ebay on silver card and matted onto black card. The sentiment is just printed off word and again backed onto silver card.

Thanks for looking xx

  1. Fab card, love the snowfakes. I have the same problem with my photos, to get enough light to take the photo always leaves me with a dark shadow and there is no WAY I could ever use photo shop!

  10. hi there!
LOVE this card- I really should get more into card making but I always seem to make such a hash...never one to know when to stop and the 'less is more' approach never seems to work for me...hey ho...!
I am going to 'try' and make those magazine freebie gingham hearts this weekend, just got them out of the packet and I'm not even going to attempt to cross stitch on that stuff - eye pulling I think it'd be! They do look as though they'd be easy enough to hand sew though, theres a good heart shape to the felt so should be ok to do - let me know what you do with them!! I think mine (if they get made..) will have buttons galore thrown at them and will be hung from the mantle at christmas...cogs whirring now...where's me button stash...

    Have a great weekend
