Yet another party for Jack this time a sleepover -nightmare - I only really have kids to play for a couple of hours so I hope Jack wont be wanting a sleepover for his birthday - aargh!!! He'll be disappointed :-).
Anyhoo, I thought I cant use that Mo Manning image again (can I????). No, try a different image, so went for one of the Greetings Farms ones that Laura kindly stamped for me, here it is:
Sorry about the wonky photo - shouldnt try and take pics with one hand!!
The image has been coloured with promarkers and used papers out of a magazine - the little stars have been saved from when I used a Martha Stewart punch.
I would like to enter this into:
Cards for Men - sketch. (realised I've missed the sentiment off - if you need one on please let me know and I'll add it and take a fresh photo - sorry)
I love promarkers - cards for men.
Right best get a wiggle on and make a start on Jacks Birthday card - something cricket related I think so will try and google some images that are suitable for boys lots of mens images or insects - hmm not quite what I had in mind - lol
Thanks for looking xx

Definetely a man card and spot on for the colouring.
ReplyDeleteHaven't fogotten about your brooch but family goings on have completely swipped the last two months off the board.(My Dad is now ill) Trying to desperately catch up. Hope to have it with your shortly. Got the rudiments of an idea snuggling down in my brain.
Hugs Mrs A.
Almost forgot. The scarf was really easy to knit up. Took an evening thats all. The hardest part was stitching the tail ends in.

Me again. Only ever used coluring pencils(can't afford promarkers) so don't know about any other medium but the colour when you do the shrink plastic deepens down too and looks very good so if you want a deep colour just go light with the pencils. Hugs Mrs A.

ReplyDeleteHi Ali, thanks for your kind comment. Yes, I had to cut the felt squares for the pincushion down too. I did it before I sewed them and ensured they were the same size as the aida ones. I hope this helps. Lynda xx
